Greetings 5th grade families,


I am looking forward to Back to school night, this Thursday (for intermediate grades).
Until then, I wanted to let you know that we are starting our new math program today.  Homework, might be a little challenging for you to support your child with at home- that is okay... I want them to work independently. If there is still confusion that is okay.  I expect that as we transition into this change it is going to take a while.  All I ask is for students to give it their best effort.  There will not be a lot of math homework (in the beginning especially) I do expect students to try to set up problems and at least start the work.
